Originally from Gianyar, Indonesia, Windu began his journey with the company as a Buffet Attendant in the Galley and has since continued to grow professionally, bringing the same strong work ethic and enthusiasm to his current role in the Bar Department. His reliability, warm personality, and genuine enjoyment of life at sea have earned him the respect of those around him. Away from work, Windu enjoys music and spending time with family and friends. Committed, experienced, and always positive, Encarnacion Jayr, AB Sailor aboard the Vasco da Gama, was recognised as Employee of the Month for April in acknowledgment of his dedication and strong work ethic.

Experienced, dependable, and quietly dedicated, Quinones Dennis Cajayon, Plumber aboard the Vasco da Gama, is recognized for his consistent contribution and professionalism. Currently on his first contract with Mystic Ocean, he brings valuable experience gained since beginning his maritime career in 2015.

His reliability and focus ensure that essential systems on board operate smoothly, supporting both crew and guests behind the scenes.

Known for his calm attitude and strong sense of responsibility, Dennis approaches his work with care and precision.

A devoted family man, he values time at home with his wife, children, and dog, a balance that reflects the grounded and committed approach he brings to life at sea.

Focused, resilient, and quietly dependable, Subhan, 2nd Cook aboard the Vasco da Gama, stands out as a steady and positive presence in the galley.

Working primarily at the entremetier station, he consistently delivers high-quality side dishes and vegetarian options for both the bistro and main restaurant, even when faced with limited produce and demanding conditions.

His adaptability, strong work ethic, and calm attitude support team morale and operational excellence.

Deeply connected to food through his family’s catering business back home, Subhan brings care and purpose to everything he prepares.

Edwin Padulla, Assistant Bosun aboard the Vasco da Gama, has been recognised as Employee of the Month for his remarkable dedication and professionalism. With over 15 years of experience at sea, he brings a wealth of expertise and a strong sense of pride to every task, from routine deck duties to the art of splicing ropes.

Known for his commitment, positive attitude, and willingness to share knowledge, Edwin consistently supports his colleagues and approaches every assignment with preparation and care. His focus on safety, attention to detail, and leadership set a high standard for the entire deck team.

Beyond his professional achievements, Edwin is a devoted family man, and his dedication and experience make him a highly valued and respected member of the Vasco da Gama team. Focused, hardworking, and full of positive energy, Elmire Jean Kersley Cedric, Crew Messman, is completing his first contract onboard after carrying this goal for many years.

With a background in hotel hospitality, he brings strong service skills and a genuine commitment to supporting the team every day.

Proudly motivated by his 4-year-old son, Keylian, Elmire also finds joy off duty in listening to music and singing. Ambitious and growth-minded, he hopes to become a Restaurant Manager within the next ten years.
